The Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) team is seeking a data-driven, customer-obsessed, and visionary Senior Program Manager to drive the day-to-day operations of the Multi-Channel Distribution (MCD) program and accelerate its growth through strategic channel partnerships and operational excellence.MCD is at the forefront of optimizing our supply chain capabilities to support off-Amazon distribution, enabling seamless inventory management and fulfillment across various sales channels. This strategic product is at the center of Supply Chain by Amazon, a key initiative to offer Amazon’s logistics solutions to sellers to help them streamline their supply chain, save cost, and grow their business by easily reaching millions of customers in marketplaces worldwide.

This Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing the UAT/Pilot Programs for MCD features, working closely with top off-Amazon sales channels to drive MCD growth, and implementing programmatic and analytical infrastructure to measure and report on operational quality and partner experience. The role requires frequent field visits to partner channels and our sites to ensure hands-on understanding and optimization of our processes.
The successful candidate will be exceptional at working backwards from our partners to understand their journey, skilled at communicating with cross-functional, global business leaders, and possess strong business judgment and analytical capabilities. They should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, along with the capacity to develop original approaches and operational improvements.
Key job responsibilities
Partner-Focus:
- Develop a thorough understanding of channel partner needs and pain points.
- Drive delivery of studies and services that enable business and operational leaders to provide an exceptional partner experience.
- Advocate for improvements to systems and processes that benefit both internal and external partners.
Manage operational SX:
- Ensure partner satisfaction and that existing Service Level Agreement measures are met.
- Drive process improvement and operational excellence by creating and managing core metrics, improving SLAs, and driving adoption of product features.
Stakeholder management:
- Build relationships with internal teams and channel partners to understand business priorities and define shared opportunities
- Influence stakeholders, up to executive level, to take ownership of issues and drive solutions to improve the partner experience.
Strategy & Innovation:
- Set strategy and define priorities for the MCD program.
- Drive roadmap, prioritization, and metric ownership.
UAT/Pilot Program Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of User Acceptance Testing and Pilot Programs for new MCD features.
- Gather and synthesize feedback to inform product improvements and go-to-market strategies.
Field Engagement:
- Conduct regular site visits to partner channels and our facilities to gain first-hand insights into operational challenges and opportunities.
- Use field observations to inform process improvements and strategic decisions.
About the team
AWD team is re-inventing the 3PL warehousing and distribution space while leveraging and improving the core Amazon supply chain capabilities. We are in year 2 of our journey and very much operate as a startup within Amazon, with new learnings everyday.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Extended Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
