Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Finance seeks a Program Manager to join our Central Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The team is responsible for managing financial planning and reporting for AWS, including the annual operating plan, long range plan, regular forecast process, and providing analytical support to senior management. In this role, the Finance Program Manager will partner with the AWS Finance leadership team to manage stakeholder communication, team deliverables, and financial planning calendar. The role requires a strong sense of urgency the ability to work autonomously on multiple high priority projects.The ideal candidate is a seasoned Finance Program Manager who is decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate, inspire, and lead cross-functional teams. The right candidate is an expert in process design and continuous improvement, and is unapologetic about having extremely high standards for quality of work. In addition, this person must have the ability to think strategically and act tactically at the same time. They should have a proven record of delivering process-related projects with measurable results, and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
In this role, you will:
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.
- Streamline processes and lead improvement projects.
- Develop the right metrics to measure process quality and productivity.
- Support ad-hoc CFO/CEO financial and strategic analyses.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
