Description
Are you interested in working with the teams that developed the Kindle, FireTV and Alexa? The Amazon Devices and Service Finance organization is expanding our technology team, and we are looking for a Program Manager with expertise gathering requirements for financial planning and reporting systems, creating and maintaining technical plans and diving into the technical details to understand the nuances and complexities involved.We are looking for a customer-obsessed Program Manager to lead finance planning automation program and various financial systems initiatives. As a PM, you will play an integral role in ensuring the systems are accurate and support the right financial and business analysis for the global finance organization. You will support and enable the development and automation of complex planning, reporting and analysis that delivers the right information to multiple layers of the finance organization.
This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for critical thinking, process improvement, and who can assist in strategic system development. You will be expected to take ownership and drive positive change. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, is analytical, detail oriented and possesses the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
Amazon needs individuals that bring the corporate finance experience AND the entrepreneurial aptitude to accelerate decision making and management of the business. Also needed is the intellectual capacity to produce innovative ideas/analysis and the willingness to do the heavy lifting to implement those decisions.
The successful candidate will have
- Strong program management experience driving business workflow improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused, detail driven, and professional demeanor
- A passion for delivering results and building trust with internal and external stakeholders
- A proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- The ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- A desire to grow professionally as the role’s responsibility grows rapidly with the business
Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor's degree
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
