Description
The AWS Marketing organization is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, data-driven Program Manager to support the Marketing Communications team. This individual will report to the Head of AWS Marketing Communications, focusing on supporting our internal and executive communications programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience building programs to support diverse audiences and can bring relevant experience, superior judgement, great follow-through, and problem-solving, and communications skills.Key job responsibilities
The Program Manager will be responsible for working with our internal communications and executive engagement team to develop programs and mechanisms that help the team operate more efficiently. Potential programs could include producing internal messaging, maintaining distribution lists and communications channels, maintaining internal wikis, internal event support, and helping build and maintain our editorial calendar. They will work to globally scale programs and mechanisms by partnering across various corporate and regional AWS teams.
The right candidate will bring a proven track-record managing business programs and the ability to earn trust and work effectively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams, demonstrate proven track record of discovering and applying insights toward creating new mechanisms that help build and scale the program, and will always “roll up the sleeves” to get things done. Being able to translate your skillsets into a customer-obsessed, data-driven Amazon culture, and operating effectively in a fast-moving cross-functional environment to drive clear outcome and results is key to your success in this role.

The AWS Marketing Communications team is responsible for building and broadly disseminating a shared understanding across the Marketing organization and throughout AWS of what we do, how we work, and how we impact the AWS business. Our mission is to create and drive strategic communications that help employees feel informed, valued, included, and connected to one another and the business.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of program or project management experience- Experience supporting Marketing or Communications teams
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
