Description

Are you an experienced and accomplished program manager excited by the challenge of defining the vision and leading teams in support of Educational and Trade partnerships across Amazon's Global Data Center Operations? AWS Data Center Learning’s mission is to develop the best data center workforce on Earth. The organization is responsible for providing training, certification and career development-based learning pathways to all new and existing data center technicians world-wide. Our team is constantly looking to optimize the training experience and provide our operations teams with a work-ready workforce.

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager, experienced in learning and development, to lead our educational partnerships and curriculum development initiatives within AWS's Data Center Learning Organization. You will drive strategic relationships with educational institutions and trade associations in order to increase the skilled workforce in the local markets where AWS data centers operate while developing comprehensive learning programs that support AWS's infrastructure growth. This role directly impacts AWS’ ability to build a skilled workforce pool for AWS data centers globally.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Key job responsibilities

- Design and implement strategic partnership programs with local educational institutions and trade associations

- Manage the creation of scalable curriculum packages that align with AWS data center operational needs

- Lead cross-functional initiatives with internal partner teams, such as Economic Development, InCommunities, and PXT teams

- Develop metrics and reporting frameworks to measure program effectiveness

- Drive standardization of external learning programs across global regions

- Manage complex stakeholder relationships at executive levels, both internally and externally

- Own end-to-end program budgets and resource allocation

- Scale programs through data-driven decision making
