Description

The Data Center Security SOAR team (Strategy, Oversight and Risk Programs) is looking for a Global Program Manager specializing in physical security who will support DC Security builders and operators through delivery of strategic programs and resources. This position will support the team's threat and risk indexing and analysis portfolio components. The DC SOAR team facilitates the creation and maintenance of programs and mechanisms that structure, standardize and inform DC Security people and processes while supporting the organization's vision to build safely and securely or not at all.

The Data Center Security Strategy, Oversight and Risk (SOAR) Programs Team supports the Data Center Physical Security Operations organization. The team is made up of program managers and physical/security risk specialists who provide an array of program support under the component pillars of standards, compliance and documentation; threat and risk indexing/analysis; and secure media handling and operations. The team's mission is to standardize and elevate security practices across the Data Center Community and enable business growth and delivery while safeguarding customer data and critical infrastructure. Key job responsibilities

Engage cross-functional stakeholders, globally, to assess and quantify threats/risks and develop operational mitigation solutions.

Manage threat quantification products; analyze program data to identify trends, extract actionable insights and create reporting.

Monitor and maintain program mechanisms and tooling for customer and stakeholder intake and outreach.

Lead continuous improvement efforts to improve Data Center Security programs and processes.

A day in the life

A Global Program Manager on the Data Center Security Strategy, Oversight and Risk Programs Team spends their day developing and executing strategic programs supporting the physical security mission with partners around the world. Each global program manager is responsible for one or more global programs, depending on complexity. Examples of daily activities include:

- Review and maintenance of threat quantification tooling.

- Field questions and consultations; lead outreach and training.

- Conduct/facilitate deep dives of threat/risk trends.

- Support development of assessment checklists and security response plans.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of program or project management experience

- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams



Extended Qualifications

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
