Are you excited about launching content on Prime Video and holding key impact on helping our business scale? We are seeking an innovative and analytical Program Manager to support the Prime Video Trust & Safety team and lead strategic programs for Maturity Ratings, Content Descriptors and Classification programs. Prime Video Trust & Safety programs aim to enable a globally trusted customer experience by ensuring that Prime Video provides content customers love and trust and accurate, meaningful and complete information to empowering customers to make informed viewing choices for themselves and their children.

This role will focus on implementing strategic programs for Maturity Ratings. This role will require a Program Manager who is a problem solver and invents relentlessly on behalf of our customers. In addition to continuously driving and improving the execution of this core mission, the Program Manager will work closely with their cross-functional counterparts in engineering, product management, legal, PR, marketing, customer service, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our customer experience.

A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, leveraging analytical expertise and resourcefulness to autonomously deliver successful results. You’ll do research, support escalation management, design audits, and draft thoughtful problem solving mechanisms. You will present proposals to stakeholders and leadership.

Key job responsibilities

- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to determine the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks. Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to evaluate risks and prioritize them based on their significance.

- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to reduce the likelihood and impact of identified risks. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that mitigation measures are effective and aligned with organizational goals.

- Risk Monitoring: Establish monitoring mechanisms to track the effectiveness of risk mitigation activities and identify emerging risks. Regularly review and update risk registers to reflect changes in the risk landscape.

- Compliance: Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure that the organization remains compliant with applicable requirements. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any compliance-related risks.

- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the risk profile, including key risk indicators, risk trends, and mitigation progress. Present findings to senior management as needed.

- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness of risk management principles and practices across the team. Provide guidance and support to employees in identifying and managing risks within their areas of responsibility.

- Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance the Trust and Safety risk management framework and processes for Ads to adapt to evolving business needs and industry best practices. Seek feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned from past experiences.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience managing programs/operations and using data and metrics to design strategies, identify and implement improvements

- 2+ years of experience in managing risk assessments

- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience



Extended Qualifications

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent

- Master's degree or equivalent

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with senior leaders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
