Description

The Center of Excellence Team defines and drives excellence across the Cloud Sales Center (CSC) to build a world class sales organization. We do this by developing and scaling innovative solutions that shape the future of the organization and drive exponential growth. To support the growth of the CSC, we are looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Program Manager to join the team and focus on building programs to develop core sales skills and competencies across all sales roles and levels in the CSC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the success of our sales organization by developing and implementing comprehensive sales excellence programs that equip our sales teams with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to achieve exceptional sales performance.

Key job responsibilities

1. Sales Excellence Program Management:

- Engage sales leaders to define and build sales training requirements aligned to the needs of all sales teams/sellers.

- Develop development programs that translate sales requirements into scalable initiatives that help build a world class sales team.

2. Onboarding and Training:

- Design and deliver engaging and effective onboarding programs for new sales hires, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary product knowledge, sales methodologies, and tools to succeed in their roles.

- Develop and facilitate ongoing training programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our sales teams, covering topics such as product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and customer engagement strategies.

3. Sales Excellence Content and Resources:

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and maintain a comprehensive library of sales excellence content, including training materials, product collateral, sales playbooks, and best practices.

- Ensure that sales enablement resources are up-to-date, easily accessible, and aligned with the latest product offerings, market trends, and customer needs.

4. Sales Process Optimization:

- Analyze sales performance data and identify areas for improvement in sales processes, methodologies, and tools.

- Develop and implement strategies to streamline and optimize sales processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance productivity and effectiveness.

5. Sales Coaching and Mentoring:

- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales teams, offering guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve their goals and overcome challenges.

- Identify top performers and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, enabling sales teams to learn from each other's successes and best practices.

6. Continuous Improvement and Measurement:

- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of sales excellence programs, gathering feedback from sales teams, and using performance metrics to assess impact.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams



Extended Qualifications

- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
