Description

Amazon’s Quick Commerce organization is exploring a new operating model to expand our network and deliver everyday essentials to customers faster. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to develop and lead our third-party integration strategy, creating a scalable model that enables external partners to secure, launch, and operate Quick Commerce sites.

This role will own the development of the 3P business plan and proposal, including operating models, financial requirements, partner capabilities, risk assessments, and the mechanisms required to scale. The Senior Program Manager will work across Global Procurement Operations (GPO), Finance, Legal, Operations, Real Estate, Product, and other partner teams to evaluate external benchmarks, assess model trade-offs, and define the path from initial pilot through broader network expansion.

The ideal candidate can move between strategy and execution. They will build detailed business cases, evaluate complex financial and operational trade-offs, and translate ambiguity into a clear, scalable plan. They must also be comfortable influencing senior leaders, challenging existing assumptions, and establishing new processes across multiple organizations.

Key job responsibilities

- Develop the end-to-end business plan and leadership proposal for Quick Commerce’s 3P operating model.

- Define a scalable approach for third-party partners to source, secure, launch, and operate Quick Commerce sites.

- Evaluate potential 3P models, including under-the-roof operations, site acquisition, launch support, ongoing operations, and fully outsourced solutions.

- Partner with GPO to identify, evaluate, and qualify potential third-party operators and supporting suppliers.

- Work with Finance to develop detailed financial models, cost benchmarks, investment requirements, and comparisons against first-party operations.

- Partner with Legal to define contractual frameworks, compliance requirements, liability structures, performance expectations, and appropriate controls.

- Work with Real Estate and Operations to establish site requirements, approval processes, launch standards, and operating mechanisms.

- Use internal and external benchmarks to assess partner economics, operating structures, launch timelines, and scaling potential.

- Develop clear assessments of financial, operational, customer experience, compliance, and execution risks, along with proposed mitigations.

- Define pilot requirements, success criteria, performance metrics, governance mechanisms, and the roadmap for scaling beyond the initial launch.

- Establish clear ownership and integration points across Amazon and third-party partners throughout site development, launch, and steady-state operations.

- Create mechanisms to monitor partner performance, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.

- Prepare and present business proposals, recommendations, and decision documents to senior leadership.

- Drive alignment and execution across teams with different priorities, constraints, and areas of ownership.
