Are you interested in developing large-scale strategic initiatives in the dynamic Global Logistics industry? Amazon Global Logistics is on a mission to eliminate borders between Selling Partners and buying customers and create new logistics benchmarks.

The Global Logistics Pricing Strategy team empowers our global business to find strategic harmony between growth and profit tradeoffs, while seeking long-term customer value and financial health. We build tools and processes to help identify and drive synergy among supply, demand, operational, and economic planning.

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead Pricing Strategy for Global Logistics’ contract experience. You will develop pricing strategy vision and its corresponding price positioning, customer analyses, market benchmarking, revenue analyses, and Minimum Quantity Commitment (MQC). You will also build long-term partnership with Finance and Business stakeholders at all levels and lead high-visibility leadership alignment on pricing strategies.

The right candidate is a self-starter who takes strong ownership, dives into product and Seller value, develops structure/frameworks to tackle problems, and rolls up your sleeves to get the job done in a fast-paced environment. You must have strong stakeholder influence to drive and enable change through compelling insights and data-driven recommendations. This means you should be comfortable with communicating, supporting your points of view, and being vocal on relevant business questions as needed. Ownership, analytical acumen, thoughtful articulation, and ability to influence are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities

- Define pricing strategies inclusive of product value, customer analyses, market benchmarking, revenue optimization, and Minimum Quantity Commitment (MQC) analyses.

- Define performance metrics and drive program review mechanisms to continuously enhance pricing decisions

- Collaborate deeply with Sales, Finance, Operations, and BI teams to develop vision and roadmap prioritization

- Drive new pricing launches e.g., new product value, lanes, fee types and support assocaited Go-to-Market.

- Map detailed cost elements that pricing can influence for the improvement of profitability by product, lanes, etc.

- Support global business reviews and pricing narratives (MBR, QBR, 3YP, OP) for the Amazon Managed Placement and Storage products and lead leadership reviews and hot debates.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

- 3+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

- 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding operations with a strong background in transportation pricing strategy



Extended Qualifications

- Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

- Familiarization with Global Logistics industry and Contract Pricing

- Understanding of P&L that will enable you to develop pricing strategies that contribute to profitability and effectively communicate any implications associated with business decisions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
