As a Senior Product Manager (Technical) for the Brand Stores team, you will use a combination of leadership, thought clarity, analytical skills, cross-functional partnership, business model analysis, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of our customers. You are excited about the prospect of owning the end-to-end lifecycle of a scaled, advertiser facing software product. You are comfortable having both technical and strategic design conversations with senior engineering, user experience design, and product leaders. You deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment, influence the roadmaps and strategic direction of cross-org teams, and are comfortable exercising judgment across a spectrum of highly diverse problems.

Key job responsibilities

We are seeking a product leader to set the vision and deliver products that: 1) examine the complex shopper and advertiser flows of brand advertising from ad impression to conversion, 2) translate deep-dives into actionable insights for our product teams, 3) deliver new metrics to help advertisers understand the performance of their ad campaigns and Brand Stores and launch advertiser-facing dashboards and APIs, and 4) build new science-powered tools and services in order to measure and improve Brand Store quality and performance.

A day in the life

In this role, you will be expected to work back from our customers by driving product discussions and conducting interviews with customers and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with science and engineering teams across Amazon to evaluate and implement existing analytical systems and work with UX design and engineering to launch new advertiser facing insights products.

About the team

The Brand Stores team helps brands develop discovery, consideration, and loyalty with shoppers; expressed in meaningful connections that strengthen brands' current and future sales. Our main customer facing programs are Brand Stores and Brand Follow.



Qualifications

- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

- Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making



Extended Qualifications

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools

- Experience implementing products that instrument e-commerce analytics at scale, understanding global privacy regulations for analytics applications, deriving real-time performance metrics and insights, launching advertiser facing analytics APIs and dashboards, and working with science teams to launch new shopper personalization models and features

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
