Description

We are a global team that starts with the customer and works backwards in order to build great customer experiences across all devices (mobile app, mobile web, desktop, and tablet).Our team is looking for a customer obsessed, data driven, results-oriented, and analytical Senior Product Manager, Technical to help us launch new, highly impactful features on the Amazon Homepage and ensure it is driving the best outcomes for customers and Amazon. This will be a high visibility role that will invent, lead, and influence many important areas of our product roadmap across internal and key partner teams.
Key job responsibilities
* Help automate manual processes to improve the overall performance and global impact of the Amazon Homepage
* Ensure we are building on and making tradeoffs with the right foundation of key performance metrics
* Launch new UX and features on the Homepage that help millions of daily customers get inspired, find what they need, pick up where they left off, and get personalized recommendations and content
* Build a single, automated view of Homepage key data points and metrics that we can use to improve our UX and partner team performance
* Make high judgment decisions and strategic recommendations on the right content mix and performance improvements
* Connect product ideation with an execution plan to drive both short and long-term value for customers and internal stakeholders
A successful candidate will demonstrate customer obsession and ownership to lead multiple cross-functional, customer- and internal-facing initiatives; be able to simplify and draw meaningful, accurate conclusions from complicated, diverse data sets; thrive in navigating through complex technologies; and have solid business instincts and acumen. This will require excellent verbal and written communication skills, including business and product strategy development, strong executive presence and experience presenting to executive leadership, and a high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. We're also looking for demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency with Excel, with the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience leading, writing, and gaining leadership alignment on business strategies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
