Description
Ship Tech is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead and define the growth and marketing strategy for Label Canvas, an innovative advertising medium that transforms Amazon shipping labels into a preferred advertising channel.The successful candidate will own the end-to-end marketing and growth strategy for this new-to-world advertising solution that bridges digital and physical advertising, offering programmatic capabilities for direct mail-like experiences at Amazon's scale. You will be responsible for positioning Label Canvas within Amazon's advertising portfolio and the broader advertising ecosystem, developing go-to-market strategies that highlight its unique value proposition: dynamic ad generation and targeted campaigns.
Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams, you will define measurement frameworks that demonstrate Label Canvas's effectiveness compared to both traditional direct mail and digital advertising channels. You will oversee creative specifications, campaign approvals with relevant stakeholders, and develop pricing strategies that reflect Label Canvas's position as a premium advertising medium.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
1. Define the long-term vision for Label Canvas as a distinct advertising channel within Amazon's advertising ecosystem
2. Drive strategic initiatives to establish Label Canvas as a preferred alternative to traditional direct mail
3. Identify and develop new market opportunities across advertiser segments, geographies, and use cases
4. Create mechanisms to continuously enhance Label Canvas's competitive position in the advertising landscape
Marketing Program Execution
1. Develop comprehensive media kit and value proposition that positions Label Canvas against both digital and physical advertising channels
2. Create pricing and packaging strategies set to deal with different advertiser groups to maximize output while maintaining competitive advantage over traditional channel costs
3. Build measurement and attribution frameworks demonstrating Label Canvas's superior targeting, efficiency, and effectiveness
4. Scale adoption across advertiser segments through targeted go-to-market strategies
5. Establish creative best practices and guidelines specific to Label Canvas's unique format
Stakeholder Management
1. Drive alignment across ShipTech, Ads, and other organizations on product strategy and roadmap
2. Lead executive-level engagement with major advertisers and agencies
3. Navigate complex stakeholder environments to accelerate program scaling
4. Make strategic trade-off decisions balancing business opportunities, operational constraints, and customer experience
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
Extended Qualifications
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
