AWS Global Services (GS), formed in 2022, delivers customer success throughout the cloud adoption lifecycle. Our 25K+ employees and integrated offerings enable us to combine technology and human expertise to maximize and accelerate customer outcomes.GS is comprised of four primary business units: 1) Global Services Security (GSS) provides security guidance and offerings, 2) Training & Certification (T&C) offers cloud skills training and certification, 3) Professional Services (ProServe) provides consulting and hands-on-keyboard services, and 4) Support and AWS Managed Services (Support) delivers 24/7 technical support and managed services. Together, these teams continuously improve our systems and processes to enable better results for both customers and employees, with the GS Strategy & Operations (GSSO) teams supporting each.

GSSO enables integrated business support, product management, planning, and deal strategy for GS. GSSO understands industry trends, customer experiences and business performance, partnering with a range of teams and functions to create a multiplier effect across the business.

We are seeking a driven and analytical Product Mgr to work closely with our data science and data teams. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging data and insights to drive product strategy and decision-making. You will collaborate cross-functionally to identify key business questions, design and execute analyses, and communicate findings to leadership in a clear and compelling manner.

Key job responsibilities

Partner with data scientists and data engineers to define analytical frameworks and extract meaningful insights from complex data sets

Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and diagnose problems impacting the business

Translate technical data and analyses into actionable recommendations that inform product roadmaps and strategic initiatives

Effectively communicate analysis and insights to product, engineering, and executive stakeholders through presentations, dashboards, and written reports

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape to provide context and identify areas for innovation

Continuously look for ways to improve analytical processes and elevate the impact of data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience as a product manager or owner

- Experience with end to end product delivery; feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product



Extended Qualifications

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

- Experience owning technology products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
