If you want to join a fast-paced, innovative team that is making history, reinventing an industry and breaking new ground for Amazon, this is the place for you!The Global Fleet & Products (GFP) organization is expanding and introducing new capabilities to our Fleet Management business that supports all Middle and Last Mile assets (tractors, trailers, box trucks, hostlers, delivery vans). In this role you will deliver world class solutions while wearing many hats and working in a highly collaborative environment that is more startup than big company. This role will require strong leadership skills, ability to identify trends with limited data and interaction/influence with teams across Amazon to drive the development of our maintenance business.
This Principle Product Manager will be responsible for building short and long-term technical vendor integration strategy, partnering with our internal tech team and customers on prioritization, scope definition, and timing needs, working closely with vendor tech partners to deliver these products. To be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable interfacing with C-Suite executives from companies of all sizes (from start-ups to industry leaders) and capable of earning trust across multiple internal Amazon teams (e.g., tech, finance, legal, corporate development, operations, etc.) to achieve your goals. You should have familiarity with cross-platform tech integrations and have direct experience with product development and ownership. Key to success in the role will be an ability to set priorities and partner with external vendors to resource plan and set delivery roadmaps to ensure integration products are completing on time and meet desired customer outcomes. The candidate will have a proven track record of end-to-end product ownership and success delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Own vendor tech integration strategy, working closely with internal customers and tech team to create a vision.
- Build effective stakeholder and internal customer relationships, understanding GFP and tech goals.
- Setting clear internal and external timelines, understanding balancing internal and external tech resource constraints to ensure products are delivered on time.
- Developing risk management strategies to mitigate business impact in the event of tech integration shortcomings.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of tech products in the GFP space, ensuring the what is delivered by our vendors meets customer needs.
- Understand GFP data needs, both internal and external, and ensure all products and integrations provide accurate data needed to deep dive and drive business decisions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Extended Qualifications
- Experience owning technology products- MBA
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
