Description

Amazon Prime is seeking a talented and driven Product Manager to lead the Global Prime Monetization charter. This role will own the end-to-end monetization lifecycle for Prime across 25+ locales worldwide — from pricing strategy and financial modeling through stakeholder alignment, execution, and post-change evaluation. This role will directly impact Prime's ability to optimize the balance between member growth, customer value, and Total Amazon profitability across established and emerging locales.

Amazon Prime is a core pillar of Amazon's consumer businesses and aspires to be the world's most engaging, satisfying, and loved membership program, delivering profitable growth by improving the Amazon experience. The program serves over 250 million members across 26 locales, with plans for further expansion. Prime's monetization strategy is one of the highest-judgment, most consequential decision domains at Amazon — pricing decisions directly shape member acquisition, retention, program economics, and competitive positioning in every locale we operate.

This role sits within the WW Prime Benefits, Pricing & Constructs (BPC) team and will own three interconnected charter areas: (1) global pricing and monetization strategy and execution for existing Prime locales — leading the annual Global Pricing Review (GPR) mechanism, developing monetization frameworks for our evolving Prime proposition, and ensuring every decision is grounded in the Prime Monetization Framework and Pricing Tenets; (2) launch pricing for new Prime international expansions — applying competitive benchmarking, customer value analysis, financial modeling, and partnership economics to set optimal entry pricing for new locales; and (3) representing Prime in subscription monetization decisions across Amazon, ensuring Amazon's interests and Prime member value are reflected in cross-business pricing and bundling discussions.

As an ideal candidate, you are a strategist who thrives in ambiguity and can translate complex, multi-locale monetization challenges into clear pricing and monetization strategies and crisp leadership recommendations. You bring a strong understanding of behavioral economics and financial modeling, with the ability to evaluate multi-scenario P&L projections, value-to-price ratios, and path-to-profitability tradeoffs. You are comfortable navigating contentious, high-judgment decisions across organizations with divergent P&L perspectives and partnering with Science, Finance, Legal, Country teams, and senior leadership to drive tenet-based alignment. You think big about how monetization strategies can accelerate Prime's growth while ensuring long-term economic sustainability.
