Description

Free Streaming is one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses β and the ads supply and signal quality that powers it is the single biggest lever to unlock its revenue potential.We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Technical to own the strategy and execution for ads supply optimization and signal quality across Fire TV's free ad-supported streaming experience. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the intersection of ad technology, streaming video, and monetization β where your work directly translates to revenue growth.
In this role, you will:
- Define and drive the roadmap for closing demand eligibility gaps, standardizing supply signals, and improving fill rate and CPM performance across our programmatic supply chain
- Own signal quality frameworks β building scorecards, taxonomies, and metadata standards that make our inventory more valuable to advertisers
- Partner deeply with engineering, data science, publisher technology, and demand-side teams to optimize auction mechanics, bidding infrastructure, and supply path efficiency
- Bring ad tech industry expertise β OpenRTB, SSP/DSP ecosystems, identity resolution, measurement, and privacy-first signal strategies β to a team building a global free streaming publisher business from the ground up
The ideal candidate has deep programmatic supply chain experience, a track record of turning signal quality improvements into measurable monetization outcomes, and the ability to operate across highly technical and commercial stakeholders with equal fluency. You are comfortable with ambiguity, energized by complex cross-functional problems, and motivated by building systems that scale globally.
Key job responsibilities
- Own Ads Supply & Signal Quality Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for maximizing ad monetization through supply signal standardization, demand eligibility gap closure, and inventory quality improvement across Fire TV's free streaming experience.
- Build Signal Quality Frameworks: Design and maintain signal quality scorecards, taxonomies, and metadata standards that increase inventory value, improve targeting precision, and expand advertiser demand eligibility.
- Drive Supply Path Optimization: Identify and close inefficiencies across the programmatic supply chain β improving fill rate, CPM yield, and auction competitiveness through better signal coverage and supply curation.
- Partner with Publisher Technology Teams: Work closely with ad serving, exchange, and publisher infrastructure teams to optimize bidding mechanics, supply packaging, and signal vending to demand partners.
- Translate Signal Gaps into Revenue: Prioritize and quantify demand eligibility gaps, build business cases for remediation, and track monetization impact of signal quality improvements.
- Align Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Orchestrate across data science, engineering, content intelligence, audience growth, and ads product teams to ensure signal quality investments are integrated end-to-end from content ingestion through ad decisioning.
- Inform Privacy-First Signal Strategy: Stay current on identity, measurement, and privacy developments in the ad tech ecosystem and ensure our supply signals are durable, compliant, and competitive.
- Scale Globally: Design signal frameworks and supply quality processes that extend across international markets as the free streaming business expands.
A day in the life
You own the signal quality and supply optimization strategy for Fire TV's free streaming ads business. Day to day, you're analyzing demand eligibility gaps, sizing revenue impact, and prioritizing fixes with engineering and data science teams. You partner with publisher technology, content intelligence, and audience growth teams to improve fill rate, CPM yield, and targeting precision across the programmatic supply chain. You write product requirements, build business cases, and present monetization impact to leadership. You're the connective tissue between ad tech, content, and monetization β translating signal quality into advertiser value and revenue growth.
About the team
The Fire TV Free Streaming team is building a global free ad-supported streaming experience β great content, no paywall. We operate at the intersection of content, advertising, and customer experience, scaling a publisher business across news, sports, music videos, and emerging media formats.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
