Description

We are seeking a customer-obsessed Product Manager to drive tactical execution and strategic development of the Amazon Devices Trade-in program. The trade-in program allows customers to sustainably let go of their old devices in return for an incentive to purchase a latest-generation Amazon Device. You'll own evergreen trade-in sales and marketing initiatives while partnering with teams to deliver effective upgrade offers that impact millions of customers and drive significant business growth.

The Trade-in PM will own go-to-market (GTM), catalog management, trade-in eligibility, Trade-in Value (TIV) management, and reporting. You’ll understand the intricacies of end-to-end trade-in sales operations and benefit mechanics. You’ll derive actionable insights through business analytics, drive business optimization experiments, formulate robust playbooks and employ audit mechanisms to ensure efficient coordination across teams. This individual balances breadth and depth, requiring a unique skillset spanning across Operations, Sales Execution, and Strategy. In this role, you will own extensive cross-functional coordination to drive strategic decisions that balance complex trade-offs between customer experience, business financials and brand perception across Devices product lines.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will drive upgrade revenue across Amazon's device portfolio while improving customer experience through seamless upgrade paths. You'll be responsible for building strong Product Line partnerships to execute effective upgrade strategies. Your work will shape the future of device lifecycle management at Amazon.

Your efforts will directly influence customer satisfaction, device engagement, and revenue growth through increased upgrade adoption. Success means more customers experiencing our latest innovations. You'll define strategy and execution for programs touching every Amazon device customer while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Impact will be measured in revenue, upgrade adoption, and creating seamless experiences that drive long-term engagement with Amazon's comprehensive device portfolio.



Qualifications

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities



Extended Qualifications

- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

- Experience working with cross-functional teams

- Master's degree or above in marketing, economics, business or equivalent

- Excellent analytical skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
