If you'd like to help us build the place to find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history.As a Senior Product Manager (PM) on Standardization and Automation (S&A) within the Planning team, you will work with our customers, partners, and operational stakeholders to ensure that the execution roadmap of the S&A team reflects the real needs of our customers, and be the bridge between the S&A short-term and long-term solutions with a vision to optimize, standardize, and automate reporting and tools for NA, EU and Rest of World Ops Finance customers.
S&A Planning PMs serve as the vision owners of the planning solution in PLANet. This particular role will focus on the Workflow Consolidation portion of planning in Amazon's planning cycles. Finance leaders leverage the PMs for support needs such as: connecting pain points to technology solutions, navigating the S&A organization, communication blockers, and reporting needs.
Key job responsibilities
- Creating and owning the automation roadmap for a strategic initiatives for Operations Field namely Workflow Consolidation
- Identifying opportunities to leverage standard S&A products to solve long-term customer pain points
- Working with Business Intelligence Engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions that solve short term customer needs
- Writing MBR documents and leading reviews to summarize to stakeholders the progress
- Working with customers to identify pain points leveraging intake mechanisms such as OP planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of team management experience- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Extended Qualifications
- Experience relying on analytics and data to cultivate deep customer empathy, shape product decisions and track effectiveness of change- Experience working with a cross-functional team across design, operations, and engineering team to meet high-reaching goals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
