Description
Are you energized by the challenge of building and executing strategies that directly impact millions of customers? Do you want to play a crucial role in expanding one of the world's largest retail catalogs?As a Senior Product Manager for NA Stores Selection Strategy, you'll drive a critical element of Amazon's flywheel - expanding and optimizing our product selection across the US market while collaborating with worldwide teams. This high-visibility role sits at the intersection of technology and business, requiring you to partner with business teams (e.g. Retail Vendor Managers, 3P, and Amazon Business), as well as global tech teams (e.g. Selection Monitoring) and various other global stakeholders (e.g. EU Selection Strategy team) to improve selection data quality and accelerate onboarding at scale.
You'll have significant exposure to senior leadership as part of monthly and quarterly business reviews, where you'll own critical goals and make recommendations about new strategic opportunities. We're looking for a strong operator who can maintain high standards while moving fast - someone who can establish and drive rigorous processes, meet tight deadlines, and have the backbone to push back as needed to ensure the right outcomes for our customers.
The impact of your work will be far-reaching, as you'll be responsible for strategies that directly influence how millions of customers discover and shop for products on Amazon. Success in this role requires exceptional operational discipline, the ability to influence without authority, and the courage to translate complex data into actionable insights - even when those insights challenge conventional thinking. You'll need to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a relentless focus on improving the customer experience
Key job responsibilities
* Lead strategic initiatives to improve brand coverage across NA Stores
* Develop and execute selection monitoring programs, including Buyability and Brand Coverage metrics
* Partner with Category Leaders to identify selection gaps and opportunities
* Drive data-driven decision making to prioritize selection expansion opportunities
* Own and present business metrics in executive reviews with NA and WW leadership
* Build and maintain strong partnerships across tech and business teams
* Balance multiple stakeholder needs while maintaining focus on customer experience

Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
