Supporting Handmade Selling Partners on Amazon’s online store requires innovative experiences and processes to ensure success for both Selling Partners’ Experience and Customer Experience.

Amazon Handmade is looking for an exceptional Senior Product Manager to help us grow on behalf of Customers and Artisans. The Handmade team connects Artisans with Customers around the world to offer unique, hand-crafted goods on a global scale. We have a growing business and are looking to scale with your help!

As Senior Product Manager, you will participate in developing the strategy, and delivering detailed, crisp business requirements that will be used to create new products and programs for Artisans and Customers. You will work side by side with a talented team of designers, marketing managers, and software developers in an agile environment launching new products while managing launched products concurrently. You’ll own building and executing product roadmaps, drive the day to day product development schedule from design through release, own the product life cycle, and perform deep analytics on Customer and Artisan facing experiences that define the next generation of Amazon Handmade.

Key job responsibilities

The right candidate will possess a strong Customer obsession, business and product management background combined with solid understanding of current web technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. High judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

- Own and deliver a portfolio of products or features designed to advance Handmade’s presence with Customers and Artisans.

- Own the long-term vision and strategy for your piece of the roadmap; maintain a deep competitive awareness and think big to identify global business opportunities worthy of investment.

- Partner with business and technology stakeholders and leaders across the organization to drive strategic initiatives through leadership and influence.

- Operate with significant autonomy to deliver results and achieve the goals and objectives of both your team and the broader organization.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience as a product manager or owner

- Experience owning technology products



Extended Qualifications

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
