Description
Amazon DocumentDB is a fully managed, MongoDB-compatible document database service enabling mission-critical workloads and the next generation of AI applications through industry-leading durability, security, availability, and scalability. We are growing the team and looking for a Principal Product Manager who thinks big, is customer obsessed, and is skilled at driving strategy and execution across teams.As a Principal Product Manager, you will own the strategic direction and product vision for Amazon DocumentDB, defining long-term strategy and roadmap by distilling diverse inputs from customers and driving teams to execute with complete independence. Engaging directly with senior technical decision-makers from startups to Fortune 100 companies, you will uncover insights and help them succeed with the product. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, UX design, solutions architecture, sales, marketing, and support to execute on product development and go-to-market initiatives, while actively developing the PM community through mentorship and coaching on product management best practices.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience- 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
Extended Qualifications
- Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service, or experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems and experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities- 4+ years of P&L management and pricing experience
- Experience with database technologies, document databases, or adjacent cloud infrastructure services
- Familiarity with agentic AI architectures and how they are reshaping customer workloads and product design

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
