Ongoing events and learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences, inspire us to never stop embracing our uniqueness.

Work/Life Balance

We value work-life harmony. Achieving success at work should never come at the expense of sacrifices at home, which is why we strive for flexibility as part of our working culture. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve in the cloud.

The AWS Field Experiences (AFX) organization is looking for a passionate, innovative, and results-oriented leader to build and own products that fundamentally optimizes, automates and streamlines AWS Global Sales (AGS), improves sales efficiency and productivity, accelerates sales motions, drives AWS Cloud – Services and Programs adoption and meaningfully improves the bottom-line. Our products enables AGS to obsess over our customers worldwide, make proactive, data-driven recommendations and be a trusted advisor to our customers in line with their core use cases/problems/needs that positions AWS as a strategic business partner in addition to a world-class cloud computing provider.

We are looking for an individual that thrives in an ambiguous setting, one who can identify customer pain points and needs, define a work back plan and product strategy, outline product roadmap and requirements, is comfortable working with UX, engineering, science and many other cross-functional teams, and can deliver high quality products with potential to even externalize such products, offering customers prescriptive guidance that is timely, accurate and actionable, and automating end-to-end customer workflows that drives efficient and productivity using the intersection of software, data and Generative AI to give customers the “superpowers”.

In this role, you will:

• Engage with AWS Global Sales to understand the pain points and needs in our sales function, define customer personas and journeys, identify critical use cases and opportunities, and brainstorm related product ideas

• Author well-researched and detailed working backwards documents to review product ideas with senior executives, define product vision, strategy and roadmap, and articulate clear product requirements and UX. Explore ways to leverage GenAI in every aspect of the product(s).

• Define product goals and success metrics, manage prioritization, and evaluate trade-offs.

• Be the voice of the customer. Work directly with engineering, data, science and many other cross-functional teams to execute on the roadmap, and manage through obstacles/blockers to achieve the objectives.

• Own business reporting for senior management review on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Work with data team(s), where necessary.

• Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills, and data analytical capabilities to drive business decisions and measure success.

We have a team culture that encourages innovation, and we expect team members and management alike to take high degree of ownership for their product vision and execution of ideas. Besides a strong product management background, the right candidate will have experience successfully working with engineering, data and science teams, building on cloud and working on distributed systems, delivering deeply technical products, and even building a product team. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, approaches complex business problems with data, curiosity and critical thinking, and works backwards from the customers.
