Join the Marketing Budget and Expenditure tool (MBET) team - the strategic nerve center building technology to converge the marketing, creative, technical, and financial workstreams of Amazon's global marketing initiatives. Key job responsibilities

- Own end-to-end product development, roadmaps, milestones, and feature prioritization

- Continuously improve the Amazon Marketer journey through the spend lifecycle by developing and enhancing product features

- Partner closely with development, program, and UX leaders to invent and simplify

A day in the life

This is a fast-paced team addressing a broad opportunity, interacting with dozens of business partners globally. On any given day you may start off by reviewing and tweaking roadmap milestones based on learnings from the day prior. After that, you will lead a meeting with Marketing Managers from around the world interested in learning about and onboarding to our new internal tool. You will become a subject matter expert and facilitate the conversation, provide answers to questions, and follow-up when the answers are not available. Throughout the day you will partner with the development team and technical program and technical product managers to refine requirements and help prioritize new features. You will meet with legal and finance partners from different organizations to discuss how our tooling will create an intuitive workflow with their use cases. Finish the day working with your colleagues to prioritize current day events, escalate new issues, and problem solve.

About the team

MBET is working on consolidating the distributed process of executing marketing spend at Amazon. We streamline processes for marketers around the world and build scalable solutions with technology. You will be a part of implementing these processes across different business teams in different marketplaces, working with hundreds of marketers around the globe. Everyday there are new problems to solve and the team is energized by this process.



Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning



Extended Qualifications

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
