Description

Are you passionate about solving complex customer and business problems at scale? Want to build highly innovative products that propel Amazon's mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company? The e-Commerce Services Group at Amazon is an agile team whose charter is to deliver the next generation of e-Commerce solutions.

In this role, you will lead Amazon's product suite that models’ transportation and regional capabilities for all items, offers, sellers, and destinations across Amazon marketplaces. Our vision is to simplify the creation of regionally contextual initiatives and enable a seamless shopping experience based on customer location, program eligibility, and delivery options.

The Shipping and Region Authority (SARA) innovates on foundational products that shape the customer shopping journey from the gateway page through search, discovery, checkout, and fulfillment experiences. Through our four domains (Shipping, Regions, Locations, Restrictions), we influence the shopping customer experience by determining customer geographic location and eligible experiences, product selection visible during discovery, delivery options such as local pickup and home delivery, and available delivery speeds, shipping charges and value-added services. Our Product enables WWAS to achieve objectives such as improving delivery speed, reducing cost-to-serve through regionalization and unit consolidation, and growing the Prime membership base.

You will leverage your deep product management expertise to work backwards from customer scenarios and identify the right opportunities to help us accelerate at scale, and innovate faster for our customers. If you have a passion for innovation, for thinking big to tackle ambiguous problems, for solving some of the biggest technical challenges in the industry, and for building elegant products that delight our customers, we need you!

You will drive day-to-day product development from design through to release. Your product requirements are concise, with clear, measurable success criteria. You are an effective negotiator, make smart trade-offs without sacrificing quality, and drive appropriate schedules. You use data to influence our business strategy and technical priorities, and escalate when necessary without damaging relationships. You independently represent your products and the product team and are comfortable communicating with senior executives as well as with business and technical stakeholders.
