Join Amazon Autos team on an exhilarating journey to redefine the car shopping experience! We're transforming the way people buy cars, and we want passionate individuals to be part of our fast-growing, highly innovative, startup environment. This is your chance to join a high visibility, high potential project in the early stages of its development and be a key player in shaping the future of the automotive industry.

We're looking for a Principal Product Manager (Tech) to serve our Automotive Sellers who is ready to work in a rapidly changing industry, help us develop products, and innovate on behalf of the customer. As a PPMT, you will engage with a cross-disciplinary and ring-fenced tech team to conceive, design, and develop innovative automotive sales and marketing experiences for our customers.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead the vision, strategy, and development of innovative sales and marketing products, including the OEM and dealer experience.

• Drive product roadmap and resolve technical decisions in partnership with engineering teams - balancing customer experience, technical feasibility, and speed to marketplace while maintaining Amazon's high bar for excellence.

• Define and execute data-driven experiments to optimize the seller journey; establish success metrics, analyze results, and iterate rapidly to improve customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

• Author product specifications, technical requirements, and strategy documents.

• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.

In this role you will talk to sellers regularly to understand the problems and opportunities they face and collaborate with the Amazon Autos team to develop the product vision for a brand-new set of seller tools and services on Amazon Autos.

This role is inherently cross-functional: You will work closely with engineering, product management, design, operations, finance, legal, and business development to bring new products to our customers.

You will be expected to create certainty out of ambiguity while having a firm grasp over the operational and financial aspects of your programs.
