The Global Network Delivery organization, within AWS, is seeking a Product Manager, Technical (PM-T) to own our internal software tool (SPS - Smart Planning System), collect requirements from internal customers, prioritize, and collaborate with engineers to deploy software capabilities that streamlines cabling ordering and deployment, reduces lead times, and delivers maximum value to teams, vendors, and customers.

Key job responsibilities

- Voice of Customer: deeply understand internal customer needs and feedback of our users with our products. Articulate and provide input into feature prioritization and product planning. Own and be the champion for voice of the end user.

- Track User Satisfaction and Engagement frequently and make modifications to the product experience to deliver 5 star ratings. Track User Support issues and deliver quick and efficient resolution to ensure sustained experience.

- Define and drive technical execution by writing detailed requirements, partnering with engineering on feasibility, understanding the architecture, making technology stack decisions, and balancing technical debt against new feature development

- Roadmap Planning: Participate in cross-functional process to translate the desired customer experiences into a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap. Create buy-in for the feature prioritization with internal and external stakeholders.

- Coordinate with NLM-Cabling Services and other teams to strategize tool integrations, prioritize feature work, and outline budget and resources required to implement product roadmaps

- Set and track success metrics to measure tools adoption, efficiency gains, deployment speed, and value delivered

- Work closely with the Insights & Reports team to ensure inputs from upstream tools are accurately reflected in BI dashboards, with proper validation for data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

- Work independently in a high-pressure environment with all levels of leadership and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist

- Present progress, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership effectively

Qualifications

- Experience coordinating complex products with stringent technical requirements, development cycles and schedules

- 5+ years of total professional experience, with 2+ years in Product Management having led at least major parts of full product life cycle (concept, prioritization, development, launch, in-market performance, end-of-life)

- - Experience of launching products Experience in defining feature requirements, working with engineering organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities to market.

- - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

- - Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Takes initiative.

- - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability present complex information clearly and concisely.



Extended Qualifications

- - An MBA and/or a degree in Computer Science (or the equivalent), or professional work experience as a software engineer is a huge plus.

- - Proficient with web services, online technologies and user interface design.

- - Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.

- - Strong analytic and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions (SQL strongly preferred).

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
