The Amazon Home and Lifestyle Innovations team is looking for a customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to drive and build on our product strategy across our businesses, which include Amazon Custom and Product Evaluation improvements on the Detail Page. This Senior Product Manager will be responsible for owning and enhancing the Customer Experience across our supporting programs. The core responsibilities include:

- Owning the vision and strategy to enhance the Customer Shopping Experience.

- Identifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve the product roadmap across programs.

- Creating business requirements for products and making decisions that ensure delivery to those requirements.

- Working with engineering teams to execute products on roadmaps.

- Defining success metrics and testing products to ensure launch success.

- Coordinating product development across international and cross-functional teams.

- Identifying process gaps; design and implement new processes to help scale the business.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about products, have strong product development and process design skills, and possess project management abilities. S/he should excel in both strategic thinking, analytics and tactical execution, as responsibilities range from creating business cases, financial reviews to driving product development cross functionally. The candidate should also feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a very entrepreneurial environment.

Key job responsibilities

- Own defining strategy for Amazon Custom and Detail Page - product evaluation features

- Establish product roadmap for with stakeholders and partner teams

- Enable and maintain business reporting for internal team and stakeholders

- Foster and maintain relationships with category and other key stakeholder teams (e.g. Private Brands, SPS)



Qualifications

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning



Extended Qualifications

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

- Experience with core retail services: i.e. listing, shopping experience, catalog, fulfillment, etc

- Experience as a or working with Selling Partners: i.e. vendor, vendor manager, category manager, selling partner services, etc

- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.

- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
