The Principal PMT will build strategic partnerships with BXT business partners and develop a cross-org product strategy to scale the benefit administration engine. This role will also lead the Artificial Intelligence (AI) product strategy to guide employees in selecting and utilizing their benefits. Candidates must have a proven track record of owning strategic products from concept to launch, strong customer focus and business judgment, experience in leading machine learning/AI products, and be skilled at breaking down complex, high-level ideas into executable features and distinct phases.

Key job responsibilities

- Develop the BXT foundation engine product vision within the broader context of benefit administration strategy. Understand the business customers' use cases and author requirements documents, define CX, and own the business metrics for your products.

- Build strategic partnerships to build AI capability that enhances the employee experience and the value proposition of the benefits engine.

- Advocate for customers (employees, vendors, business partners); understand the customer needs and prioritize critical features and capabilities.

- Execution: You handle significantly complex product development that involves cross-org stakeholders' alignment, technical requirements, and funding models. You manage dependencies and work around limitations with a keen awareness of one-way vs. two-way doors.



Qualifications

- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience technical product management

- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product



Extended Qualifications

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
