Description

Want to help enterprise customers accelerate their transition to AWS? In this role, you will work with our largest customers to identify the challenges they face making a cloud transition, and work backwards to create unique and compelling new offerings that address these challenges. At your disposal is the current and future capabilities of the AWS Global Services (GS) portfolio, which includes AWS Professional Services, AWS Support, AWS Training and Certification, AWS Security, and our AWS partners. Using these capabilities, you will define, launch, and incubate new products and offerings that help enterprises accelerate their transition to the cloud. While our customers require assistance across a wide range of transformation topics such as Migration, GenAI, Data & Analytics, and Security, this role will focus specifically on Application Modernization and the associated technical and non-technical challenges. The broad scope of the role will also be well positioned to identify opportunities for our individual GS teams to work more efficiently together for the benefit of customers. In addition to building relationships with the GS product leaders of each portfolio business unit, you will help develop Global Services product management standards, prioritized roadmaps, peer review proposed product ideas from across the business, and identify opportunities to improve the unified value proposition and delivery of our existing Global Services capabilities.

Key job responsibilities

For new Global Services products and offerings, you will be responsible for authoring the vision and thought leadership documents that help leadership evaluate the customer benefits and business potential of an innovative idea against the required effort. You will then continue to refine the idea with customer feedback, align with GTM campaigns, work to gain support from business unit product leadership, define financial and pricing models, and work through the AWS launch and go to market process where applicable. Once launched, you will participate in early business development and field enablement activities, and iterate quickly based on feedback from initial customers.
