Description
We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our last hundred yards automation initiative, focusing on developing and implementing robotic solutions for final delivery operations from delivery vehicles to customer doorsteps.Key job responsibilities
The Senior Product Manager for Last Mile Robotics Automation will be responsible for spearheading our autonomous delivery robotics initiative, encompassing both strategic and hands-on operational duties. This role will drive product strategy by defining roadmaps, identifying market opportunities, and developing compelling business cases for robotics implementation. The position requires deep technical engagement, working alongside robotics engineers to oversee autonomous navigation systems, AI/ML integration, and safety protocols. The product manager will build and maintain crucial relationships across multiple stakeholders, including operations teams, urban planning authorities, technology vendors, and property managers, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption of robotic solutions. They will lead agile development processes, establish and track key performance metrics, and manage comprehensive pilot programs from conception to full-scale deployment. Success in this role demands a balanced combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional stakeholder management skills to effectively revolutionize our last hundred yards delivery operations through robotics solutions. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to navigate complex technical challenges while maintaining a clear focus on operational efficiency and customer experience enhancement.
About the team
LMDA is an automation system designed to transform the final stage of package delivery, focusing on the last hundred yards from the delivery vehicle to the customer doorstep. It uses autonomous robots powered by AIML with real time navigation and obstacle avoidance to ensure safe and efficient movement across sidewalks, entrances, and residential areas. LMDA supports secure delivery protocols while complying with local regulations. Its cloud based fleet management enables real time tracking and route optimization for seamless coordination. A user friendly interface provides live updates and notifications. LMDA offers a cost effective solution that improves efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
