Description

We're looking for an innovative and customer-obsessed, technical Sr. Product Manager - Tech who will obsess over your customers and work backwards to take our ad targeting and recommendations products to the next level by leveraging the latest in Gen AI and LLMs. You will define product vision and drive execution for these products and features. You will engage with advertisers, integrators, and partner teams to help formulate your vision, and define the features, goals and metrics that drive a substantial science, engineering, and UX team to turn your vision into product. You will tackle challenging problems and coordinate high profile projects across multiple teams to ensure our goals are met. You will use customer anecdotes to find inspiration, and data analysis to confirm your suspicions. You'll contribute to the organizational planning for one of the largest advertising programs on the planet, present to senior executive, and evangelize your vision and promote your wins to build your reputation as a leader.

Key job responsibilities

Develop the vision, product strategy, and product development of key Advertising services and experiences with industry-wide impact.

Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.

Drive the first and subsequent launches for the service both from product and Go-to-Market perspective

Develop detailed business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product or feature.

Work closely with science, engineering, and UX teams to deliver products. Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load.

Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

Communicate your plans to internal stakeholders from across and at all levels within Amazon through 2-6 page documents.



Qualifications

- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

- 2+ years of data analytics experience using tools such as SQL, Tableau, Python, Pandas, Jupyter, etc.



Extended Qualifications

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

- AdTech/Advertising Domain Experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
