Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Tech to help lead the development of reinforcement learning technology and its application to complex problems across Amazon's global supply chain. Our team develops advanced data pipelines, builds optimized algorithms, and deploys automated software solutions while laying the groundwork for continued innovation in the supply chain.Our ideal candidate has the analytical skills to develop insights, the technical chops to translate those ideas into innovative designs, and interpersonal and project management skills to harness the passion and energy of teams across multiple organizations. In this role you will work closely with software engineers and scientists to deliver scalable products deployed around the world. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail driven, and have excellent problem solving abilities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as SQL, Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing AI related products and services
Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities:
-Build product roadmap(s) to manage Simulation for networks worldwide
-Work closely with software developers, scientists, analytics, and business teams to get the products developed.
-Envision, define, build and launch simulation products and features that enable our data systems and stakeholders to uncover new insights and fine-tune operations to meet business goals.
-Coordinate feature development across multiple engineering teams to ensure our feature requirements are delivered.
-Drive stakeholder efficiencies through feature enhancements and automation that streamline the data analysis and decision-making process
-Learn the needs, pain points and behavior of the Stores business & supply chain users and develop strong intuition about solutions that will work for them.
-Frame and lead discussions with key business and technical stakeholders to assess opportunities, make data-driven recommendations, and build consensus ahead of important investment decisions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
