Key job responsibilities

We are looking for a talented Global Product Lead who is ready to take charge of strategic planning and ultimately execute on our business plans. As one of our valued team members, you will be obsessed with matching our standards for operational excellence with a relentless focus on delighting our customers.

The Kuiper Product and Country Development team is focused on launching and operating the Kuiper service across the globe.

- Define consumer distribution business models and strategy, along with service plan, pricing, and cost models.

- Develop distribution partner negotiation strategy and deal frameworks, along with pricing and cost models.

- Analyze and recommend improvements to deal packages that include strategic distribution partners.

- Lead technical system requirement definition for features and capabilities that support partnership deals and strategic partner operations.

- Partner with region leads, operations, and business development to support launch plans with timing, prioritization, and demand forecasts.

- Partner with region and country leads to support GTM strategy development for each geographic region.

- Partner with product and marketing to support strategy development for partner marketing and promotions.

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.



Qualifications

- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- 5+ years experience with partner distribution business models and pricing strategies

- 5+ years experience with forecast and cost modeling

- 5+ years experience with defining technical system requirements



Extended Qualifications

- Experience building and managing large scale, successful teams

- Experience in both US and foreign operations

- Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast paced culture

- Great analytic and communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
