Description

The Purchase Exp and Ordering (PXO) Product Team's mission is to offer the most trusted and delightfully easy purchasing and post purchase journey on Earth. We enable customers to easily find, evaluate, and purchase any goods or services from any merchant, using any payment method, and with flexible fulfillment options. Our commitment extends beyond purchase to include efficient delivery, cancellation and refunds, ensuring satisfaction in every step of the customer purchase journey.

Key job responsibilities

What you will do: You will help drive our Cart Product strategy to scale our new, modernized purchasing experience to new use cases, surfaces, and customers across the world. You will identify and influence the prioritization of innovative, scalable solutions to enable Cart and 'Save for Later' to more effectively meet the unique needs of customers in emerging marketplaces and those that are new to or less familiar with shopping on Amazon. You will have the opportunity to engage with Checkout’s dedicated UX and engineering teams to define the roadmap, CX, experimentation strategy, success metrics, and more; obsessing over metrics and leveraging learnings along the way to continue championing the needs of these critical customer types. As the single threaded leader, you will also work in lockstep with the global partner teams that own features and innovate across Cart and Checkout’s experiences; driving a collaborative vision and path forward to deliver a future state architecture that scales to support innovation and deliver a best-in-class purchasing experience.

What you will learn: You will have the opportunity to further develop communication skills - both written and verbal - to influence and work with senior management. You will develop skills in A/B testing, product thinking, and working cross-functionally with UX and engineering teams to drive experiences across all devices (desktop, mobile app, etc.) and in all geographies. You will build relationships and learn about the initiatives driven across our broader organization, which powers Amazon’s most visited experiences (e.g. Homepage, Product Detail page, Navigation, etc.). As a member of one of Amazon’s most critical customer-facing teams, you will also collaborate with the hundreds of partner teams that innovate across Cart and Checkout in a given year, gaining rare insight to Amazon-wide strategic initiatives and priorities.

About the team

We care deeply about our people and are proud of our commitment to both building and maintaining an inclusive environment where everyone can be successful. Each month, we dedicate a full, meeting-free day towards learning and development; encouraging team members to innovate and focus on the work they’re most excited about, watch broadcast videos, file patent ideas, learn new skills, take courses, work on career growth, innovate along with our teams, and take extra time to celebrate our successes.
