Description

Are you passionate about building products that transform the future of how we work? Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented, motivated, and tech-savvy Product Manager to manage product development for the Devices, Books, and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) legal teams.

In this role, you will work with builders and subject matter experts to drive novel and transformative legal technology products. You will work closely with internal legal customers and engineering teams — including partner teams across the business — to define, build, and deliver solutions that help lawyers and legal professionals provide trusted counsel at the rapidly accelerating pace of innovation. More broadly, you will play a direct role in defining how Amazon's legal organization and its many business partners leverage AI capabilities to work smarter, faster, and more effectively.

You will bring a blend of product management, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution. You will collaborate with builder and software development teams in an agile environment, translate complex legal and business needs into actionable product requirements, and manage products from concept through launch and adoption. You must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, and energized by the opportunity to build transformative tools from the ground up. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels, is essential.

Key job responsibilities

- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for legal technology solutions that serve the Devices & Services, Alexa, Books, and AGI legal teams and their business partners.

- Write detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for features on the product roadmap.

- Collaborate with builders, software development managers, and engineers to plan and execute projects using agile methodologies, ensuring on-time delivery of roadmap commitments.

- Partner with a diverse set of customers to identify pain points, gather requirements, and prioritize features that align with the product vision.

- Drive consensus and buy-in for product strategy across partner teams through collaboration, communication, and negotiation that effectively influences peers, stakeholders, and senior leaders.

- Lead product launches including documentation, training, communication, and adoption strategies to ensure new solutions deliver meaningful impact.

- Identify and drive opportunities to incorporate AI and automation into legal workflows, simplifying processes and scaling the impact of legal teams.

A day in the life

You will be embedded in a global, collaborative legal organization at the intersection of AI and consumer technology. On any given day, you might be, leading a design session with attorneys and business partners, analyzing usage data to prioritize the next sprint, refining the product backlog with an engineering team, or presenting a product roadmap update to senior leadership. You will work on transformative initiatives — such as AI-powered knowledge management systems, intelligent collaboration tools, and cross-functional platforms — that redefine how legal guidance is created, maintained, and delivered at scale. Your work will directly impact how some of Amazon's most innovative teams operate and make decisions.

About the team

We are a forward-thinking builder team, pushing the boundaries of what's possible at the intersection of law, technology, and AI. Our work supports legal teams across Devices & Services (Leo, Kindle, Fire TV, Ring, eero, and more), Alexa, AGI, and Amazon Books. We value intellectual curiosity, ownership, and the ability to translate complex challenges into elegant, scalable solutions. Each team member plays a crucial role in shaping how transformative technologies are developed, supported, counseled, and deployed.
