Description

The AWS Science of Security team is dedicated to making AWS the best computing service in the world for customers who require advanced and rigorous solutions for security, privacy, and sovereignty.

The ideal candidate thrives on tackling ambiguity and complexity. You are a big-picture thinker who can operate in a startup environment. You will work with partner teams, engineers, and scientists to develop deep understanding of not only the product strategy but also the underlying technology. You will create the roadmap to incrementally solve complex problems that allow AWS to set the industry bar on security and compliance.

This is a unique and rare opportunity to get in early on a fast-growing segment of AWS and help shape the product vision and business. You will have a chance to utilize your deep technical and product experience in a fast moving start-up environment and have positive business and customer impact.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience managing technical products or online services



Extended Qualifications

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
