Description

Are you passionate about solving complex business problems at the intersection of technology and supply chain innovation? Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD), part of Amazon Supply Chain Services, is building the future of logistics β€” enabling manufacturers of all sizes to leverage Amazon's world-class supply chain, transportation network, and advanced technology to move products from factory floor to customer door faster, more reliably, and at significantly lower cost.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Principal Product Manager - Tech to help make this vision a reality. This is a unique opportunity to operate in a customer-facing, startup-like environment within Amazon β€” where speed, ownership, and customer obsession drive everything we do.

In this role, you will leverage deep product management expertise to work backwards from our customers, identify high-impact opportunities to accelerate growth at scale, and drive rapid innovation. You will navigate ambiguity, define product strategy, and deliver elegant solutions to some of the most complex technical challenges in the logistics industry.

If you thrive in fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial settings and are motivated by thinking big, tackling ambiguous problems, and building products that delight customers β€” we want to hear from you.

Key job responsibilities

Own end-to-end product strategy β€” lead customer research, competitive benchmarking, and domain strategy to define a compelling product vision and multi-year roadmap

Drive product development from concept to launch β€” lead day-to-day execution across the full product lifecycle, from design and requirements through development and release

Lead cross-functional teams β€” align and mobilize engineers, designers, program managers, scientists, and fellow product owners to bring your product vision to life at scale

Write clear, measurable product requirements β€” author concise product specifications with well-defined success criteria that drive engineering clarity and customer outcomes

Make smart trade-offs β€” negotiate effectively across competing priorities, balancing speed, scope, and quality without compromising the customer experience

Leverage data to drive decisions β€” use quantitative insights to shape business strategy, inform technical priorities, and build compelling cases for investment

Communicate across all levels β€” independently represent your products and the broader product team to senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical partners with equal confidence

Navigate ambiguity and escalate effectively β€” drive alignment in complex, fast-moving environments and escalate when necessary while preserving strong cross-functional relationships

A day in the life

No two days look the same β€” but every day centers on one mission: enabling the efficient movement of inventory across Amazon's supply chain for both Amazon and off-Amazon customers. You'll partner with world-class scientists and engineers to define and execute strategies that drive faster, lower-cost distribution at scale. You'll lead cross-functional working sessions, align stakeholders on priorities, and share best practices that raise the bar across the broader organization. You also operate as a force multiplier β€” actively mentoring team members and scaling impact by educating others on leading practices.

About the team

The Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) team is building a best-in-class third-party logistics (3PL) offering that delivers meaningful value for our customers, sellers, and Amazon. We operate at the intersection of supply chain innovation and customer obsession β€” moving fast, embracing ambiguity, and challenging the status quo. Our mission is to simplify logistics so sellers can focus on growing their business, while driving efficiency and scale across Amazon's fulfillment network. We thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where bold ideas are encouraged.
