Description
Help lead the transformation of Amazon Store building! As Senior Principal PM-T in BuilderWorks, you will help shape how Amazonians create, operate, and improve our shopping experiences. You will help lead the drive toward AI-native and AI-enhanced methodologies and tools including shaping how we harness the energy and innovation across our builder community. And you will help us shape the builder culture to maximize innovation and productivity.The BuilderWorks team provides some of the most broadly used primitives upon which Amazonians create experiences across SDO. This is everything from front end services like our Amazon shopping applications and CX frameworks to our experience and content rendering services to our managed data, compute, workflow, and networking services We also are responsible for key cross-organizational initiatives such as latency and accessibility. We sit at the intersection of AWS and Amazon Stores, influencing across the company.
In this role, you will build on and direct our critical mission into the future. You will leverage your knowledge and insight of what our builder customers want and need as well as your understanding of our foundational services to layout our roadmaps. You will need to both deeply understand Amazon’s unique builder culture as well as be eager to shape and reimagine it respectfully. You will also serve as an essential member of our leadership team across our lifecycle of invention, delivery, and operations. And, you must help us attract, develop, and keep our next generation of leaders.

Qualifications
* 15+ years of leading the conception and delivery of high-scale products and services* Deep understanding of software development practices and tools
* Strong creative, communication, and analytic skills.
* Demonstrated ability as a “technical diplomat”, able to work across diverse organizational cultures
Extended Qualifications
* Experience designing APIs, service endpoints, and tooling for developers* Familiarity with modern GenAI tools
* A sense of humor and proven willingness to have fun

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $215,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $335,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
