We're looking for an Sr. Product Manager who combines superb technical, research and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to look around corners, work independently, and get the right things done. This person must be comfortable acting as a technical lead for our Product Lifecycle Management and Manufacturing Execution systems. Export Controls License
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
Key job responsibilities
• Define the strategic vision and product roadmap for the next-generation Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) work-streams.
• Demonstrate deep technical expertise in PLM and MES systems architecture (workflows, APIs, runtime, design limitations, maintenance) and leverage data-driven insights to influence priorities and strategy.
• Scope and manage large, complex technology initiatives, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements, or deprecating obsolete systems across multiple teams and platforms.
• Ensure the program meets challenging business goals and drives measurable improvements in efficiency or experience for customers, employees/engineers, or the business.
• Apply product management best practices to refine procedures and increase the productivity and effectiveness of cross-functional teams.
• Possess excellent business communication skills to present complex technical information to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Participate in hiring and mentor others to continuously improve their skills and ability to deliver results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Systems Architecture experience integration PLM, ERP and MES systems.
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience in building and driving integration and adoption tool sets
- - - Experience in developing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (Dassault 3D Experience preferred).
- - - Experience in developing Supply Chain systems (Apriso and Infor LN preferred).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
