Description
Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit that will provide high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The B2B team is looking for an entrepreneurial Pricing Lead to define pricing and revenue strategies for our subscription business. They will conceive, build, launch, and grow business cases and demand models (e.g. price elasticity, conjoint, willingness to pay)—continuously evaluating opportunities to drive improvement and innovation while achieving customer experience and revenue metrics. This position has frequent exposure to senior leadership and cross-organization stakeholders.A successful candidate is curious, creative, detail-oriented, and adept at understanding customer needs and preferences. They thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and know how to build consensus in a matrixed organization.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
• Define pricing and revenue strategies on a country-by-country basis, balancing global frameworks with local customer preferences and other factors.
• Champion creativity and experimentation, conceptualizing and developing new service plans, bundles, and value combinations that drive acquisition and retention.
• Design a testing roadmap to introduce and improve net-new demand models (e.g. price elasticity, conjoint, willingness to pay), including applicability across countries and business customer segments/industries.
• Develop and optimize models to forecast subscriber acquisition, retention, and subscription product and service mix.
• Partner cross-functionally with regional business leaders, finance, sales, data scientists, and consumer pricing teams to integrate pricing and forecasting insights into strategic decision-making and shape future initiatives.
• Once operational, analyze performance data and synthesize insights to refine the product portfolio. Surface customer feedback and provide clear recommendations.
• Deliver comprehensive, written documents that consider different types of data and inputs across a broad range of stakeholders.
• Become a thought leader in the Amazon Leo organization on broadband category trends, business customer needs, subscriber economics, and growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- 10+ years of experience in pricing design, finance, economics, or product management.
- Experience with structural demand modeling (e.g. conjoint, price elasticity, economic choice models).
- Experience with survey methods, including survey design, sample size calculations, weighting, and primary data collection.
- Written and verbal communication skills to convey complex pricing decisions to business partners and senior leadership.
- Proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in telecommunications, satellite communications, subscription businesses, or with B2B/SMB products.
Extended Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
