The ideal candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires experience in analyzing large data sets and implementing solutions based on findings. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, results-driven motivation, data-backed decision-making ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills. They should possess solid program management experience with a desire for continued growth.
Key job responsibilities
The Program Manager role will implement and maintain processes to support program execution, conduct data analysis, improve processes, and standardize procedures under guidance. Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues, managing tasks independently, and working collaboratively with product managers and science teams to influence future designs. This role must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of effectively managing multiple priorities to deliver results.
A day in the life
A typical day in this role includes monitoring and analyzing program metrics, conducting deep-dive investigations and root-cause analyses to identify patterns and opportunities for defect reduction at scale. They will lead initiatives to eliminate defects, ultimately enhancing the customer experience. The role will deliver clear business updates during regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews. The Program Manager will maintain consistent engagement with stakeholders, sharing progress updates, removing project blockers, and ensuring timely program delivery.
About the team
The Fashion and Fashion Catalog team strives to deliver a best-in-class customer experience through accurate and consistent product information presentation. We develop models to identify customer-facing defects and implement processes to resolve them.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of program or project management experienceExtended Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
