Description
Amazon is seeking a creative, curious, and highly proactive PR Manager to drive momentum for Alexa+ AI Capabilities. This role is focused on showcasing what Alexa+ can do—both new and existing capabilities—through creative communications and PR campaigns. We're looking for someone who loves to roll up their sleeves, ideate, plan, and execute compelling storytelling that brings Alexa+ features to life.In this role, you will own a comms roadmap to drive ongoing momentum for Alexa+ features, developing and executing creative campaigns that keep Alexa+ top-of-mind with media, influencers, and customers. You'll ideate and promote new and existing Alexa+ capabilities to reporters, through social channels, and via influencer partnerships, finding fresh angles and creative approaches to demonstrate the value and innovation of Alexa+.
You will develop and execute proactive momentum activity campaigns that go beyond launch moments, creating sustained interest and engagement around Alexa+ capabilities throughout the year. Through strategic media relations and proactive pitching, you'll build relationships with technology, AI, and consumer tech media contacts, securing coverage that illustrates the breadth and depth of what Alexa+ can do.
This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners including product, engineering, marketing, and content teams to identify compelling stories, develop creative campaign concepts, and execute tactical PR programs. You'll bring creativity, curiosity, and an abundance of bias for action to everything you do.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage in top-tier technology and consumer publications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate technical AI concepts into engaging stories.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic communications plans that drive business results.
- Demonstrated creativity in developing and executing PR campaigns and momentum activities.
- Extreme proactivity and bias for action—a self-starter who thrives on ideating and executing creative work.
Extended Qualifications
- Experience managing complex product launches and multi-stakeholder programs.- Track record of developing successful proactive PR campaigns and creative storytelling programs.
- Ability to earn trust with senior, executive-level leaders.
- Experience in consumer technology communications, particularly in AI, voice technology, or software features.
- Demonstrated track record of developing successful proactive PR campaigns and thought leadership programs.
- Experience working with engineering and product teams in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.
- Established relationships with technology reporters and influencers.
- Understanding of AI technology, hardware design processes, or emerging technology trends.
- Ability to develop long-term communications strategies aligned with business goals.
- Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives from complex technical information.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
