Description

Amazon is looking for a high-judgment PR Manager to join the Trust & Reputation team within the Devices & Services PR team.

In this role, you will define and build the issues management approach for one of Amazon’s Devices & Services programs. You’ll be expected to identify potential risks, and build comprehensive communications strategies, playbooks, and messaging to address them. You’ll also be expected to provide counsel on potential business and policy decisions, manage complicated reactive issues and news cycles, and develop and execute communications strategies to build customer trust.

As a key advisor to the business, you must demonstrate excellent judgment, earn trust with various internal stakeholders, and be willing to dive deep into complex topics. You must also be able to clearly articulate ideas in both written and verbal communications, anticipate potential issues and headwinds for the business, find ways to simplify and streamline work, and effectively advocate for decisions that protect the long-term interests of Amazon and its customers.

If you find that you are right a lot; thrive in busy, high stress environments; are a self-starter, and enjoy diving into technology-related issues—this role might be a great fit.
