Description
Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and high-judgment professional to join the team responsible for leading proactive consumer campaigns and cross-Amazon stories focused on seasonal shopping events. This role will provide tactical support across Amazon’s highest profile consumer-shopping events throughout the year. The ideal candidate will excel at managing day-to-day communications tasks, coordinating with agency partners and cross-team stakeholders, tracking industry trends, and supporting media outreach efforts. This individual should be comfortable executing well-defined deliverables, possess strong organizational skills, demonstrate clear written and verbal communication abilities, and enjoy wrangling multiple projects simultaneously. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational communication skills while providing growth potential within the team. As the individual develops in the role, they will have opportunities to increase ownership of smaller seasonal events like Valentine’s Day and deal moments like Labor Day sale.Key job responsibilities
• Support the team in the tactical execution of communications strategies for Amazon’s seasonal shopping events and deal moments.
• Manage monitoring and reporting processes in partnership with external communications agencies.
• Track competitor and industry trends, drafting and circulating regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Source and compile relevant deals and product information for weekly media pitches and press materials.
• Assist with influencer campaign support, including tracking deliverables and performance metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional communications, ensuring stakeholders remain informed of key timelines and deliverables.
• Support event project managers by maintaining and updating project trackers to help the team stay organized across overlapping events.
• Prepare first drafts of briefing documents and background materials for internal use.
• Support the review and approval process for external communications materials.
• Help analyze campaign results and contribute to post-event reporting.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience- Bachelor's degree
Extended Qualifications
- Experience working in retail, e-commerce, or consumer products communications.- Familiarity with communications monitoring and measurement tools.
- Knowledge of media relations processes and best practices.
- Proactive self-starter who can work autonomously while collaborating effectively with teams.
- Experience working with global teams or on international events.
- Outstanding attention to detail and standards so high most people would find them unreasonable.
- Interest in consumer trends and retail industry developments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness to overcome challenges.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $110,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
