Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience • 3+ years of electrical engineering experience specifically in power electronics, designing, testing, and debugging power electronics such as AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC power conversion, switching power supplies, driver circuits, and battery systems • HW Lab experience: setting up prototypes, developing tests and running tests as well as experience developing tests and automating their execution with one or more programming/scripting languages.Extended Qualifications
Deep understanding of different power electronics circuit topologies as well as experience designing or testing products for safety, compliance, and regulatory standards • Experience with technologies such as: power optimization, board design, thermal, mechanical, BIOS, BMC, signal integrity, networking as well as working with overseas CM/OEM/ODM vendors in product development • Ability to apply critical thinking in complex situations; experience working in cross functional groups including mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, test, reliability, and failure analysis. • Experience with data center power distribution to server racks and within server racks as well as gathering requirements and developing server specifications and a demonstrated ability to engage technology developers in the industry to track and apply emerging technologies to innovative server designsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
