Amazon’s growth requires leaders who move fast, have an entrepreneurial spirit to create new products, have an unrelenting tenacity to get things done, and are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems.

Amazon SCOT-Optimal Inventory Health team is looking for a strong Principal PMT to re-imagine inventory optimization for it's Grocery business WW, a key investment area for Amazon. • Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning.

• Own strategic and operational product communications including developing and reporting on key metrics.

About the team

Optimal Inventory Health (OIH) is a key part of Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) - the decision engine behind Amazon's supply chain (watch this fun video about SCOT: https://youtu.be/ncwsr1Of6Cw). Every day, OIH systems look at every item sold by Amazon and our Selling Partners worldwide to determine if we like the inventory levels, and if not, do something about it. We use large-scale optimization and machine learning models to maximize the net present value of inventory, driving actions such as website pricing markdowns, deal creation and execution, as well as driving customers to find the products they want at prices they love through various channels, including search and ads.
