Description
Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.The Principal PMT - B2C Data Strategy and Analytics, will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing Kuiper consumer data strategy and analytics roadmap
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will work directly with customers, marketing, business teams, data engineering, data science, BIE, and operational stakeholders to define Kuiper data strategy and analytics needs in the consumer vertical .
This role requires the ability to work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must have strong business judgment, dive deep into data, have strong writing and analytical skills and be comfortable leading executive-level WBRs and MBRs.
The best candidates will have deep understanding of consumer needs for modern telecommunication services and have prior experience in leading data strategy and analytics. Candidates with demonstrated business and analytics experience with consumer product launch will be preferred.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience- 7+ years experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- 5+ years experience managing technical products or online services
- 5+ years experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- 5+ years experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- 5+ years experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Extended Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
