Description

Amazon is investing in building a customer centric, world class advertising business. In this role, you will be on the forefront of developing publisher solutions across Streaming Video, Streaming Audio and Display Advertising. These are nascent, high growth areas, including Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, and new acquisitions in Podcasting, where scalable, programmatic Ad publisher solutions are critical to business success.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager Technical within Amazon Publisher Technology to drive the long-term product roadmap for cross-platform/format ad selection decisions. In this role you will partner with engineering and science to develop ML/AI driven advertising technologies that lead to better outcomes for media publishers, advertisers and end consumers.

Core Responsibilities:

• Define the long-term product strategy for cross-platform/format ad selection strategies to improve publisher long-term free cash flow

• Partner with a team of scientists/engineering to launch machine learning strategies that transform how digital advertising inventory is monetized

• Create extensible product roadmaps that incorporate rapid changes in new market demands and technological innovations

• Develop success criteria for complex modeling in predictive yield optimization and dynamic demand allocation

• Establish governance frameworks for responsible ML/AI implementation in advertising technologies



Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience technical product management



Extended Qualifications

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
