We are looking for a strong Vendor Manager to join Amazon's exciting and fast-paced team leading the go-to-market strategy and building innovative activations and partnerships for shoppable entertainment properties like Thursday Night Football, Rings of Power, and more. Additionally, this person will work across our Hardgoods division to build best in class external partnerships which lead to new brand-burnishing opportunities and launches.

Candidates must have proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, great attention to detail, the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task and a proven record of driving category growth. They must be an effective leader and communicator in working with some of Amazon.com's most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment.

The successful candidate will be able to:

- Lead complex, Tier-1 Activations in partnership with marketing and content orgs. (Amazon music, Prime Video, etc.)

- Build process to scale on-boarding and growth across a large number of brands and projects

- Craft compelling businesses narratives and strategic Go-To-Market plans for high-profile launches

- Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments

- Maximize Amazon’s business profitability and selection expansion opportunities

- Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of site features that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience

- Create go to market plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies

- Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, while meeting tight deadlines

- Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets



Qualifications

- 3+ years of product management experience

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services



Extended Qualifications

- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level

- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
