Want to lead safety analytics development & roadmapping at scale to make our communities safer? Are you looking for a role with high impact and high visibility? We are looking for a motivated, data-oriented self-starter to join as a Program Manager on the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Accountability team!In this role, you'll take end-to-end ownership for the analytics roadmap that improves safety for delivery associates and the communities they serve. We seek a leader who can generate and execute complex analytics initiatives, create clear insights via scalable analysis, leverage AI and other tooling to create new ways to approach safety, and consistently deliver results across diverse cross-functional teams.
Creating insights to solve complex business problems via analytics is a key skill-set in this role. We are looking for someone who can own an end-to-end analytics program, including design/ideation for analytics systems, stakeholder and leadership alignment, driving a cross-team roadmap, developing KPIs, overseeing forecasting models, visualization and advanced analytics, and ensuring excellent data quality.
You will be successful in this role if you can manage multiple competing priorities, often with urgent deadlines, and deliver at speed while developing a long term strategy. You will need to be a capable communicator who can distill complex analysis into simple messaging and visuals, with the ability to apply analytical skills to problem solving and program management.
Key job responsibilities
* Develop and manage the analytics roadmap to identify and solve complex problems in an ambiguous space.
* Lead the development of metrics to track performance and enable deep dives.
* Create and synthesize safety analytics insights to drive program/product actions.
* Manage the development of forecasting models to project the impact of contextual factors on safety.
* Define and document business requirements and system design to drive new analytics initiatives.
* Spearhead projects to leverage AI and ML and create novel analytics approaches to business problems.
* Clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing, to drive buy-in across a diverse group of stakeholders with competing priorities, including executives.
* Lead data quality initiatives to drive high fidelity, high quality data for decision-making.
* Manage dependencies and own status reporting for time-sensitive projects involving technical and non-technical contributors.
* Conduct hands-on analysis as needed to support key initiatives and decision-making.
A day in the life
In this role, your day centers on leading the analytics roadmap while diving into the data to understand trends. You will analyze safety incident data and align teams on metrics and initiatives. You'll spend time using Python, SQL, and/or Excel to understand the data yourself and review output from analytics partner teams. You will communicate patterns and trends to steer safety initiatives. You will write up business requirements, manage projects through delivery, and lead QA, UAT and deployment of new data pipelines/analytics products.
You'll collaborate with partner teams like data science, software, and data engineering teams to create models and tooling for incident analytics. You will present findings and roadmap progress to executive stakeholders, transforming complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech teams
- Intermediate ability with Excel, SQL and/or Python
Extended Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
